Official Statement: Regular fans might recall that we worked with NYP in staging Independence Day at the Lightfoot Centre, Newcastle, in November 2005. NYP also regularly handle logistics for WWE shows, and owner Dave Arkley is really keen to get stuck in! "I knew at Independence Day that this promotion was going places - that was one of the best shows I've seen outside the really big boys, and I've worked on lots of shows, believe me!" said Dave in a statement yesterday. "Staging weekly shows for 500+ audiences is what wZw is aiming for, and I can really see them achieving great success with the current team they have in place. It's a pity the Belle Vue Centre in Hartlepool was so small - we can't get a decent lighting rig in, but we're working to provide a really memorable production on the 27th January. This will be something special, and we're glad to be part of it." wZw is priveleged to have someone like NYP on board - we can really start planning some spectacular shows, and we're already working on a mind-blowing tour for 2008.
