On Sunday January 14 history will be made when the acclaimed ChickFight Tournament will, for the first time ever, take place outside of the United States of America at The Marina Centre in Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom! In the 7th installment of the prestigious ChickFight tournament four of the U.S. top female wrestlers will collide with four of the U.K.'s top female wrestlers in a gruelling one night knock-out tournament that is sure to put womens wrestling back on the map in the UK! The women will compete in a one night tournament that promises to be some of the most hard-hitting and technically precise wrestling action around today. Each of the girls that is entered into this tournament has proven themselves around the women's wrestling scene. Cheerleader Melissa has gained a reputation as one of the most feared and respected competitors today. A hardhitting wrestler, Melissa's kicks and wrestling skills have made her a hit in both the US and Japan. Daizee Haze has made her mark as one of the most beloved wrestlers in the US-a hippy chick with attitude, Haze is one of the most renowned female wrestlers in America today. She also won the last Chickfight tournament in the US. Lacey will be well known by Ring of Honor fans, often to be found accompanying her man Jimmy Jacobs to ringside. But fans of Shimmer in the US know that Lacey is also one of the most accomplished women wrestlers today. MsChif is a wild, crazy competitor who has carved a unique fan following for herself in America, and recently competed in her first tour of Japan. The green haired death metal girl scares opponents with her earpiecing scream before destroying them with her vast arsenal of moves. The Sweet Saraya is well known as the most respected women's competitor in the UK today. A solid wrestler who takes her profession seriously, Saraya has done more for the UK women's scene in her near 17 years of competition than anyone else. Jezebel has quickly risen the ranks of the UK women's scene over the past year, establishing a solid reputation for herself with her bouts in Irish Whip Wrestling, RQW and LDN among other promotions. Counting a number of Shimmer wrestlers amongst her fans, Jezebel is the real hot prospect on the UK scene these days. Skye has established a solid reputation for herself in the UK. Competing all over the UK, and throughout Europe, Skye has impressed fans, whether it be in Irish Whip Wrestling, LDN or France's Queens of Chaos promotion. Skye is a solid wrestler who has a great future. Jade is quickly making a name for herself throughout Europe! A dedicated wrestler who travelled all the way over to the U.S. to further her craft from such respected wrestlers as Chris Benoit, William Regal and Dave Taylor. The 20 yr old is a crafty Essex Girl that will do anything to win. These 8 women will represent ChickFight first venture outside of the United States in perhaps one of the most important female professional wrestling events of all time!
