Some time ago, Anglo Italian asked me if I could look out for the pub which Eric Cutler had, in a place called Eckington on the outskirts of Sheffield. I cruised round the area one day but could not find his name above any pub door, anyway, on a Sheffield website someone has just posted this;

Here is the message that has just been posted:

Eric Cutler was a great pal of mine. I met him when I was about 13 yrs old

at Longley open air baths.He was always there with his wife Brenda & his

little babby who is now monster size. He used to wrestle with Abe Ginsberg

as the Black Diamonds tag team, they were baddys with black masks on. He

took a pub, the Angel Inn at Eckington for a while then went on repairing

cars or anything else which was broken. He was a genius with his hands

which were like 2 shovels. Sadly Brenda died quite young and it did him in

for a while but he came round OK & met another lady who looked after him

like a goodun.He died of a heart attack a few years back.I knew most of the

wrestlers from Sheffield, Bobby Graham, Brian Glover(Leon Arras), Alan

Kilby.All great guys.
