bah i was going to mention the msg big hug too.... but i was beaten to it...

HHH worked hard but once at the top im pretty sure, like most of us, he would want to stay there, earning the best money and getting the most coverage.

indulge me in an example if you weeeeel

imagine you work in the shop, £4.50p/h,

would you want to have the managers job £11p/h?

but once you had it, the profits fall,
would you then decide..
"heck its my fault, im better off working on the shop floor."

of cause you wouldnt its just a "down turn" in business its bound to pick up soon...

im pretty sure you'd ALL want to earn £11.00 than the £4.50

A good point, I don't think anyone's mentioned that during his LONG _title_ reign business went down.I'm not sure however about his motives being financial ? Considering he's married into the WWE & it's widely considered amongst the WWE wrestlers (Jeff Hardy shoot) that HHH will inherit control of the business when Vince retires, is it about the money or is he stroking his own ego ?

He doesn't need money anymore he is married into money now so it is definately an ego thing.

I would say it's largely a genetic thing programmed into all of us. If you can have the power, the fame, the money etc., why not? Surely we'd all like to have our cake and eat it. Afterall, if you're not going to eat it, there's no point having the bloody cake!!

Triple H to "inherit the business when Vince retires" ?? what about Shane? I don't think Vince wants the business being run by anyone who is not a McMahon.
As an old timer who remembers "Terra Rysing" (Triple H in WCW for those too young to remember) I think he has done well for himself and is very smart. His original run as Hunter Hearst Helmsley was entertaining, he had a very athletic look, before his "bulking up" phase (I won't mention chemical assistance) and he had to do those silly Pig Sty matches with Henry Godwin. I think he has earned his dues, but once at the top, it's hard to let go, so we see him in the main event, week after week after week. He obviously is a big Ric Flair fan, as he models himself on the mid 80's Nature Boy, long hair, smart suits and of course, the 4 horseman _style_ of Evolution. He is good on the Mic and decent in the ring. He is not holding back Orton, who is main eventing, he is not holding back Flair, who is past his prime but still a draw and he is not holding back Batista, who is an ex nightclub doorman and has limited ability, but looks the part.

Vince should swallow his pride and bring back the following to inject some new story lines into the shows, if at all possible.

Randy Savage - as the wily old pro to stand by Orton and take on Flair head to head. Savage looked in good condition in Spiderman.

Sid Viscious - as the monster enforcer to watch Ortons back and take on Batista head to head. Big Sid still has the charisma and size to get a pop when he walks in.

Finally, for all those who believe that Triple H, talented or not, would still be a main eventer if he ever cheated on or divorced Steph McMahon, wake up and smell the coffee.

How about a televised in ring wedding for HHH and Steph?
I know we know but does everyone else know?
If you know what I mean?
Been does before with Savage and Liz but why not? Bit of fun eh?
And work into a storyline?
