It appears you have a short and selective memory as well as Triple H and HBK was a draw at Rumble 2004.
2nd, he only beat Goldberg in that match. You'll find Goldberg squashed everyone else, but it was still an entertaining match.
I remember that HHH used to be the only reason I watched RAW back when he was champion. I've never seen Triple H squash anyone yet he's been squashed a fair few times himself.
I'm not saying who is in the main events isn't important, because it is. I'm talking about win/loss record andd stuff, the majority of fans won't remember and it often does little to relegate or promote stars.

Triple H is a selfish piece of shit who only got where he is because he is married to the daughter of the owner. Yeah he lost to Benoit and Benjamin but did he make them look strong in doing so? not. Look at all the careers he has virtually buried .
Booker T who was meant to take the _title_ from him at Mania 19 now a mid carder on Smackdown.
Rob Van Dam..as above.
Kane stuck in a meaningless feud with Matt Hardy and no doubt will get squashed by Michaels at Summerslam
Chris Jericho stuck in a crappy feud with Trish Stratus and Travis Tomko
Goldberg was made to look a pussy in the elimination chamber then when he did win the belt Triple Selfish was constantly making him look weak.
And Randy Orton and Batista are never going to break through the glass ceiling while Triple H has them under his watch.
The list goes on but it would take this sites bandwidth if i posted them all.

Not been able to see WWE for a good fews, probably last saw before Xmas '03. So I've missed Benoit being champ etc...
Got to say though think WWE does need HHH as he is a big name and a great heel. The heels are supposed to destroy the opponents and you then hate them more especially with the tactics they employ.

Anthony28, that is the most ludicrous thing I've ever read.
#1: Triple H didn't get to where he is by being married to Steph. He has had a slow and steady rise over the last 9 years, earning it, every step of the way after being jobbed out and trampled on for many years! If they were suddenly to divorce tomorrow, I don't believe it would have that much of a negative impact on Triple H's career the way people say it would. I think he would still maintain the main event slots or at least high spots on the card because he is just one of the best there is right now, if not thee best.
#2: When has Triple H held down or buried anyone's career. All the people you mentioned with the exception of Goldberg are still a part of WWE and in relevant storylines and feuds. Triple H had decent matches with all these people so how did he make any of them look bad? Don't know what this has to do with Chris Jericho, they haven't had a singles match in years and Jericho has just finished a great feud with Christian and is now kinda drifting between feuds until he finds something to do.
#3: Watch the elimination chamber again. How could you possibly say Goldberg was made to look like a pussy? Not only did Goldberg annihilate and completely job out 3 great wrestlers giving them no offence at all, but he also beat the hell out of Triple H and it looked as if Triple H was genuinely scared of him, especially when Goldberg broke the glass. Bearing in mind that Triple H was seriously injured at this time, he could still wrestle better than Goldberg.
#4: I'm pretty sure Randy Orton has broken through and far surpassed the glass ceiling. It's scary to thing how young he is and how good he will become.

Try looking back to the "In Your House" PPV's, I remember an ex boyfriend showing me some of them and HHH was being jobbed out in some awful gimmick matches month after month.
What annoys me is people who constantly say hes awful without bothering to familiarise themselves with his career history. He hasn't got where he is today by marrying Steph, hes got there through hard work and dedication, two qualities that every pro wrestler should have.

I think it is a case of what is new soon becomes old hat,in other words fans can lose interest in the same thing, hence we no longer have Superstars of wrestling was full of squash matches and promos. Wrestlers can get overexposed such as Brock Lesnar did, being on the TV all the time shoved in peoples faces.
