WWE® Statement On Performer Suspensions
STAMFORD, Conn., August 30, 2007 - _base_d on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.

Some more on this from US site PWInsider.com:
Mike Bucci (Simon Dean) is gone from the company, as is Nick Dinsmore (Eugene). Word is that there may be more firings to come soon.
Wellness policy will be modified to include pre-employment screening, and routine tests will now also include marijuana screening. There will be no suspensions for MJ positives, but there will be fines (at least $1000 per offence). They will also now test for anti-oestrogen drugs, which can be used to suppress the effects of steroids/HGH etc - usual rules will apply for positive results.
There is also a strong rumour of one of the top talents on RAW (edit September 5 - apparently Ric Flair!) having "given notice" i.e. indicated that he doesn't want to automatically renew his contract on the same terms. This, of course, doesn't automatically mean that this individual will be leaving. No word yet on who it is.
