Re: Wrestling Heritage site 11 Months ago
We have been hard at work to provide you with reading for the Longest Day via a second June update. The letter I certainly stands for International as you are challenged to spot the Inglishman in the A-Z profiles.

1954 is the year under review and features some quality photos and modern day names starting to creep into prominence.

We review our own preconceptions of years gone by in Armchair Corner.

And in Autographs younger fans will be able to see how their pre-internet predecessors had to improvise materials.

Last not least, Wrestling's Most Influential continues its countdown towards the glittering Number One position. Rule out five more of your own tips as five more names are listed in this update.

Who will the winner be?????????????

Fourth of July updates 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago
As Independence Day dawns, we launch the first of our updates which will now be a weekly event through July.

The countdown of Wrestling's Most Influential now reaches the top ten and a trio of household names both make the listing this time ... and in so doing exclude themselves from the Top Spot.

Who will be adjudged THE most influential person in British wrestling????

We also crack on with the A-Z listings and attack J for July.

Please sign the guest book to tell us your thoughts.

Re: Wrestling Heritage site 10 Months, 1 Week ago
Friday 13th brings good luck for readers of Wrestling Heritage with the latest of our weekly updates. The site celebrates it’s three months anniversary with a brand new front page edging the highly acclaimed Sport or Spectacle? to the Features section. We also announce a forthcoming quiz associated with the popular feature Wrestling’s Most Influential. Six thousand unique visitors have loaded thirty-four thousand pages in the first three months, and we thank each and every one of you.

Re: Wrestling Heritage site 10 Months ago
BBC News has reported:

“The hottest recorded July day has emerged to have been in Wisley, Surrey, where temperatures hit 36.5C (97.7F).

As the sun blazed across the country schools closed and workers dressed down while the elderly and young children were urged to drink plenty of water.”[/i]

Okay, that’s not exactly today’s news, but Wrestling Heritage thrives on looking back to the golden days of weather and wrestling.

We are continuing to bring our little bit of sunshine to Britain’s wettest summer with another of our weekly July updates.

Look in this weekend to find the addition of 1955 to “A Year of Wrestling..”

No week could go by without another update to Wrestling’s Most Influential, with another gaggle of grapple related geezers to eliminate from the top spot.

Read, enjoy, add a comment, and have a good week until next week…
