Just been watching some old footage of Marty Jones wrestling Alan Tiger Wood, a terrific old school bout (I think thats what the youngsters would describe it as !). Was Wood from the Wigan school of 'shoot' fighters and did he have many other TV bouts or gain any _title_s? For a lighter man he certainly gave Jones plenty to think about. The sort of bout many of todays young wrestlers would do well to watch....

Yes I think he is another Wigan wrestler, he gets a mention in "Pure Dynamite" from what I remember.
