Yes, and whilst Kent got away with it, it sounded really corny from Lee Bamber!
Lee Bamber = nice bloke, GREAT ring announcer but *ahem* TV commentator.
Mind you, he was still miles better than Orig Williams on Eurosport's New Catch.

Chris Adams versus Bobby Barnes:
"Barnes turned pro 1971".
We have seen so many like Cortez who allegedly turned pro that year.
Maybe Kent was only counting in decimal currency.
But the wrestlers and promoters were surely all involved in trying to shave ten years off the real ages.
Bobby had turned pro about 1962 and the Hells Angels had formed in 1965.
Pre-video tv really played on distorting our memories ....
