Kendo - No Showed in Bath 1 Year, 2 Months ago

I hear that Fans turned out in Bath yesterday to see Kendo Nagasaki present an award to the winner of a small tournament but although Kendo had arrived at the venue he did not enter the hall nor the ring, apparently he left the venue without the Fans getting to see him.
Very disappointing for any Fan but I feel sorry for those that travelled a long way to see Kendo in particular.
I know that there was a Wrestling Show to watch but you must admit that many tickets were bought because of Kendo Nagasaki being advertised.
What went wrong ?
Why did Kendo and his entourage turn up in Bath but did not do what was planned ?
******************************************************* I have just read on another site that LDN are claiming that this event did take place and Kendo was at the show.
So what is going on if I am being told by Eli that Kendo did not show up but the promoter is claiming he did. *******************************************************

I have just spoken to Mad Eli who claims you never contacted him and that you are lying. I won't say more to your motives but everyone has seen the way you post about myself.
The footage will air on TWCfight! on Tuesday 9th October at 11pm and will be repeated througout the week.
Thanks,
Sanjay Bagga LDN Promoter

Whats going on is that either Eli is making it up, or you are.

Ian,
Please check things before you post. You have my contact details.
It was an event promoted by myself.
Kendo was there, as was Mr. Ryan. Kendo did his ceremony in the squared circle, sat at ringside during the Robbie Brookside v Phil Powers bout and then completed a 20 minute (as announced) interval book signing.
After this 20 minutes I even went back into the hall and got many programmes, posters etc taken back stage and signed and even invited several families backstage to get there autographs.
Shame you couldn't be there Ian, or the night before in Yate. See you soon.

Whatever else one thinks about Kendo, he is a reliable and consistent artist who would not "no show" unless circumstances absolutely prevented his appearance. You only have to look back at his busy and demanding schedule from his 1964 debut onwards to realise that. It is a pity that a false rumour about him has been started here. I well remember an occasion at Bolton in the early 1990's when there was fog and serious delays on the M6 which would have caused most people to stay at home or turn back. Kendo battled through from the midlands, arriving at Bolton during the interval, getting ready in record time and putting on a tremendous performance as usual. I look forward to seeing the match and Kendo's involvement in the event, when it is shown on TWC in October. PS In the Bolton match in question Kendo & Shane Stevens beat Rob Brookside & Steve Adonis (Friday 8th February 1991). Brookside had to wrestle twice that night due to the absence of others who had failed to mak eit through teh fog. He beat Vic Powers earlier in the evening.
