How old is Badger now? I have not seen him for more than 20 years

In answer to your questions Yvonne was Badgers missus,he is 76 years old.I also remember with great affection the times i spent on the indie shows for Jake and the badger any my many matches with the likes of Killer Ken Davies who used to knock a very young Tony Walsh all over the place.Badgers daughter is Nicky and she has been a rock to him,i will keep you informed of developments but things are looking very grim.

Many thanks for that up date. Like yourself I remember him very well and its funny I was only talking to Mike and Seamus Donlevy the other week and we were going through of my old wrestling material, and even they remarked to me that there seemed top have been a real gang of characters in the business in the mid 1960s to mid 1970s. I came across an old photograph that must have been taken in the late 1960s It was taken in Belgium there are 15 men in it and it says they are the original directors of Joint Promotions Ltd and The Alliance Eureopeene de-Lutte.de-Combat. I cannot make out who they all are , I know Geroge Relwyskow,Arther Green,Arthur Wright,Billy Best and Ron Jordon, the rest I am snookered on. I must try and get it on to the site but I dont know how to do it.

It is with deep regret that i have to announce the death of my dear freind and former wrestling referee Duke Badger.I was honoured to be at his bedside with his daughter Nicky and his brother and sister in law when he left us.It was 2 38pm today at West Heath Hospital,Birmingham.I will let you know of his funeral arrangements as soon as i know,Rest in peace Badge.deepest sympathy from Banger and family.
