~~~ THE MATCHES ~~~
Final Eliminator For The IWC European Tag-Team Championships
Hard Love
vs.
The Action Faction (Danny Garnell & Sgt. Kevin Anthony)
w/ Lucas Jackson
Hard Love, a team made up of the self proclaimed ladies' man Jonny Love and adult entertainer Stefan Hard. They have been teaming together for the last two years and are the former IWC European Tag-Team champions, defeating now current champions The Flying Scotsmen.
Jonny, a ring veteran of almost ten years is clearly the power house of the team while Stefan's ability in the ring compliments Jonny's _style_; both wrestlers are technically sound and a serious force to be reckoned with.
Lucas Jackson is the founder and owner of The Action Faction. Since he started his stable Lucas has signed many wrestlers to do his bidding in the ring, and has had a great deal of success. Current LDN Heavyweight champion "Notorious" Jon Ritchie among others has tasted gold under Lucas' guidance.
Danny Garnell is one of the most technically sound wrestlers in wrestling today. Known to bend the rules on many occasion he is an asset to the Action Faction, although only wrestling on special occasion for Lucas Jackson and The Action Faction, those few times has shown why Danny Garnell is with out any doubt a tough opponent for anyone to deal with
Danny Garnell's partner is a former army sergeant turned professional wrestler that uses a mixed _style_ of wrestling and out right viciousness to take down his opponents. Sgt. Kevin Anthony's career highlight was holding the IWC European Tag-Team championships with the "Notorious" Jon Ritchie.
LDN British Heavyweight Champion
"Notorious" Jon Ritchie
vs.
"Sugar-Ray" Hammer
The "Notorious" Jon Ritchie has a passion for boxing and the great athlete went through twenty-five contests before hanging up the gloves. His wrestling career has spanned thirty-five years including his amateur days, working for Dale Martins, All Star, Premier, Hammerlock and most others. During those years he encountered King Kong Kirk, Jon Cortez, Steve Grey and many others too numerous to mention here. Prior to joining Dropkixx in the autumn 2004 he was coach at Hammerlock, he is also the current LDN British Heavyweight Champion.
"Sugar-Ray" Hammer is a unbelievably talented young star is a force to be reckoned with. Hammer is a technically sound wrestler who is tenacious and has a never die attitude. His desire to succeed and in ring ability are definitely his strongest points. Not only is he technically sound but he has been known to take things to another level with a _b_link__ of an eye.
Battle Of The Super-Heavyweights
Hugh Mungus
vs.
Q.T. McFluff
Hugh is a former strongman competitor and ex-boxer. He is a good technical wrestler with surprising speed for a man of his size, but he has a very short fuse and is prone to break many of the rules. No one is safe in the ring, including the referee and any tag partner that he may have. To sum it up, Hugh is a dangerous man. A very dangerous man!
Q.T. McFluff is a lovable mountain of a fellow. For a man of his bulk and size he is a very agile and can pull off some tricks that may surprise anyone who is fortunate enough to see him in action, or unfortunate enough to be in the ring with him. Watch out for some antics too as he isn't the champ of camp for nothing!
Yorghos Christopoulos
vs.
IWC European Middleweight Champion
Amit Rambojan
Yorghos was the first ever IWC European Light-Heavyweight champion, winning the championship in very first Dropkixx shoot wrestling tournament, during his reign as champion Yorghos had many outstanding matches against wrestlers like "Laser" Lagden, "Heartbreaker" Brad Beck and his opponent at Maidstone, Amit Rambojan.
Amit Rambojan is a man of few words, more often than not letting his in-ring work do the talking for him. Rambojan kept his eyes firmly set on Yorghos' IWC European Light-Heavyweight championship throughout most of last year, before eventually dropping down a weight class and winning the IWC European Middleweight championship in the second annual Dropkixx shoot tournament.
"Heartbreaker" Brad Beck
vs.
The Grim Reaper
"Heartbreaker" Brad Beck is a high-energy talented star with a great in ring ability that is second to none! His speed and technical wrestling has caught many a wrestler off guard. Watch out for Brad's patented superkick as it has finished off many opponents in the past!
From deep with in the depths of nowhere comes The Grim Reaper. With the ability to drain the energy from a room with just one look this wrestler is terrifying and down right nasty. He seems to enjoy dishing out pain and many of his opponents have felt his wrath. Currently the number one contender for the IWC European Heavyweight championship he is more than a force to be reckoned with.
IWC European Light-Heayvweight Champion
Barry Ryan
vs.
IWC European Welterweight Champion
A.J. Mysterio
Barry Ryan simply is a technical wrestling machine. This talented technical tactician is the current IWC European Light-Heavyweight champion, winning the championship via a shoot tournament. Having mastered his craft well this methodical intelligent wrestler is trouble for anyone especially when he's at the top of his game.
A.J. Mysterio is a man with many talents. His speed is second to none and his aerial assaults are simply breath taking. He has caught many a wrestler off guard in his time and any opponent that he faces better keep an eye on him because this man is simply faster than most.
"Tough" Tony
vs.
"Laser" Lagden
"Tough" Tony was the very first IWC European Junior's Division champion, but since that time Tony has left the junior's division and has gone straight into the heavyweights division. Tony's matches are a mixture of his strength and technical ability, he is not to be taken lightly.
"Laser" Lagden is a former light-heavyweight wrestler but has since moved into the heavyweight ranks, while in the light-heavyweight ranks he had a tremendous series of matches with "Heartbreaker" Brad Beck and Yorghos Christopoulos, Lagden is also very competent in an array of wrestling _style_s, including shoot and free_style_.
Walter Englebert
vs.
Cell
Walter Englebert is a force to be reckoned with. His devious and somewhat underhand tactics have led him to many a victory. Also opponents shouldn't forget that this man can wrestle with the best of them too.
Cell is a man with many talents, much like his good friend A.J. Mysterio his aerial assaults are simply breath taking. He has had quite a lot of success tagging with A.J. Mysterio and now trying is hand at singles competition.
We are pleased to announce Frank Rimer has agreed to M.C. at Maidstone this saturday . A very under estimated front man that will we think bring a touch of class to the proceeding's.
Yorghos Christopoulos vs. Amit Rambojan Added!
A new match has just been added, one that we are all excited about. Both men have been in the ring with each other before, either facing each other or on the same team, they have also both wrestled on LDN Capital TV.
Yorghos was the first ever IWC European Light-Heavyweight champion, winning the championship in very first Dropkixx shoot wrestling tournament, during his reign as champion Yorghos had many outstanding matches against wrestlers like "Laser" Lagden, "Heartbreaker" Brad Beck and his opponent at Maidstone, Amit Rambojan.
"Tough" Tony vs. "Laser" Lagden Added!
Another match has also been added for our Maidstone show, that being "Tough" Tony vs. "Laser" Lagden. Both of these wrestlers are very able in the ring, and have both been with Dropkixx for years, although this is their very first meeting inside the ring.
"Tough" Tony was the very first IWC European Junior's Division champion, but since that time Tony has left the junior's division and has gone straight into the heavyweights division. Tony's matches are a mixture of his strength and technical ability, he is not to be taken lightly.
"Laser" Lagden is a former light-heavyweight wrestler but has since moved into the heavyweight ranks, while in the light-heavyweight ranks he had a tremendous series of matches with "Heartbreaker" Brad Beck and Yorghos Christopoulos, Lagden is also very competent in an array of wrestling _style_s, including shoot and free_style_.
Good luck with the show
In line with many ex wrestlers have fond memories of Saturday nights in Maidstone it always was a good wrestling town.
In fact I will be in Maidstone on Saturday but at the Hazlett Theatre with my Nashville Nights show, so hope we both pull good houses and have nights to remember.
Cheers
Neil
