Regal Bucket Boy ? 5 Years, 3 Months ago

In response to Simon Eatons post, yes i do know William Regal. When i first started to wrestle in 1982 i would travel down to Blackpool to work for Bobby Barron who use to promote at the plasure beach. It was down here that i first met Darren Matthews aka William Regal. He was very young then and sometimes at shows he would even act as a second or bucket boy when he was first learning to wrestle.Once at a show in Bolton he was the second in my corner, thats one to tell the grandkids?Darren worked hard and he deserves every success that he has acheived. When i saw him at the reunion on sunday which was the first time for ten years he was sill the same pleasant fella that i had met all those years before. The future in WWE at the moment might be a little uncertain for him, but i wish him all the best in the future.
PS. Some people dont like the character that he portrays but have a look at the fight he has with Dave Finley in a scrapyard in his WCW days.He can mix it with the best.

One of the things that surprised me about Regal when he was interviewed on SMTV was how quiet he was. Obviously, I didn't expect him to call Cat a "grubby little slapper", but his answers were almost mumbled, as if he was shy. Quite the opposite of "Comissioner Regal" as he was at the time.
