Purely out of interest Jack, which currently active workers outside of Japan do you rate as good? Just I dont recall you speaking highly of anyone.

On the subject of British wrestling companies working closely together, I believe that at the moment, the working relationship between the World Association of Wrestling and the Ultimate Wrestling Alliance is the only one of it's kind right now, in a sense that they've co-promoted shows not just in arenas but on the holiday camp circuit as well.

Why do we hate the FWA?

The FWA sucks up to Fin "PowerSlam" Martin's hatred of Britain's traditional wrestling culture and has set itself up as the organistion which will polish off trad-Brit wrestling forever, and that Alex Shane is always slagging the UK's wrestling culture left right and centre and you expect us to like it????????????????

Anyway the FWA isn't a British Wrestling promotion, it's an American Wrestling promotion from Britain. There is a difference, you know.

Outside of Japan? That you'd be familiar with in America - Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, Eddy Guerrero (although all three don't have the opportunity to show it) are great workers when they want to be, and that used to be (particularly in the case of Benoit and Guerrero when they were allowed to JUST WRESTLE LIKE IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE) quite consistently. Does Austin count as active? I guess not. American Dragon's probably there (though not on par with the aofrementioned three) as he's dragged Low Ki to some pretty good matches... Angle should have got there but, alas, he's working in the WWF working short matches with very little storytelling and more focus on (the stupid bastards) look, charisma, promos and angles (that's wrestling to you people!?!?!?). It's not as if Japan is overflowing with great talent (though has much more than America because they have the opportunity to develop into such and the training is a lot more fundamentally-stressed) either, mind, although back in the mid-1990s when Michaels and Bret Hart were "the world's best workers" Japan almost certainly was... and great matches.

Chic - Have things changed over the years then because weren't people like Rocco, Nagasaki etc exclusice to All Star, hence we never saw them on TV for a while when Dale Martin had the rights?...no things never changed, the Roccos,Nagasakis, Haystacks etc etc were free to work for who ever they wanted...If they were getting enough work and albeit quality work from any one promoter then they would usually by their own choice stick with that promoter...;
