I apologise for my ignorance here, but are you an ex promoter/wrestler, Dusty?

I used to wrestle before a motorbike accident left me with a man made knee instead of the one God gave me , I've put on a few shows , Helped with a few more but really I'm just a fan.

Ah, Jon Farrer got into their bad books after he tried to promote a show but the ring never turned up. There was a big uproar on the UKFF which was never fully explained and they're still grumbling about it now, months after it happened.

Yeah, heard something about that, Cherry. Well, I must say, the comments on this forum thus far aimed in my direction have been a lot more friendly that I anticipated. I'm trying to do a good thing here with XWrestling. I'm extremely confident I will bring to the UK Wrestling scene a product that is unique to the other promotions here in the UK, and hopefully will be a great success. People harping on about a mistake I made nearly five years ago are not going to beneficial to myself, my company, or UK wrestling as a whole.

While I'm not keen on over-hyping XWrestling on the Internet (something I feel certain UK promoters rely on too much) I would like to think that the 1 Stop Wrestling forums can be used as an outlet for me to answer any niggling questions that people should have.

I've recently started a venture promoting club nights and there is a lot to learn it that trade.Some DJs want to be paid big bucks and have to realise they are only worth the crowd they pull which equals takings.
I've realised some principles are the same with wrestling booking/promoting,big names giving the rub etc. :wink:
Good luck and be prepared to learn and make more mistakes,hopefully just little ones,speak to those more experienced.

Ah Phil Lowe is back, I know of this incident where he screwed everybody on the show and ran away to spain, i wonder if he is gonna pay all the people he owed money to before he tries to run a show again?

If not i would be shocked if anybody thats well known in the UK would ever work for him again. Only time will tell eh?
