Ah Phil Lowe is back, I know of this incident where he screwed everybody on the show and ran away to spain, i wonder if he is gonna pay all the people he owed money to before he tries to run a show again?

If not i would be shocked if anybody thats well known in the UK would ever work for him again. Only time will tell eh?

Well if this is Mark Sloan, of course you know of the incident, because you were there. The incident, was not me "screwing" people though. If people wish to think that, fair enough, but basically it was a case of "I fucked up". As I've pointed out on several occasions in the past, I did not profit from that show at all. I actually lost. I panicked, and I fucked up. Looking back as I've said before - 20yr olds should not promote shows - it's not a good idea. I would have thought that 5yrs down the line people could have moved on. I apologise for not paying people, and I've learnt from my mistakes - the main mistake being that I set up BWA as what was nothing more than a glorified hobby rather than a business.

For the record, I did not "run off to Spain". I left the UK about six months after the Middlesbrough show, and spent close to two years in Tenerife. Hardly class a six month gap as doing a runner, would you?

Whether anybody that's well known in the UK wants to work for me is up to them, but when have I said that I was looking at taking on those guys anyway?

I hate for this to be dragged up again and again. I thought that people would have better things to talk about to be honest.

I was speaking to a few people, wrestlers included last night who were more than interested in finding out where they could find Phil Lowe. Apparently its not just wrestlers who want some justice.

I dont know the full story, but its a well documented era of **** ups in the North East. All I can say, if you have not paid what you already owe, then you could end up in one hell of a lot trouble if you even attempt to start promoting again. People go on about Farrer, the fans lost out, but every thing else was paid for. No wrestler went home with out expenses and were not stuck in some god forsaken place because they had no money to get home!!!!!

People will never forgive blatent greed, and the excuse you were young is no excuse. Count your self lucky you did not end up in court like hewson.

It's a real shame that people cannot forgive and forget. I have no idea what Mr Lowe's agenda was or even how many bridges he burned through mistakes. Promotion is a thankless job and if done correctly involves 24/7 work and thats no lie.

Any promoter in this country who can say that it's easy is either lying or quite frankly, not working hard enough. Many promotions struggle to break even let alone make a huge profit, so Im sure greed wasn't his thing. Maybe... Like alot of others out there, he thought he could produce something and make a genuine difference to the scene in this country... Then again, maybe he did get over ambitious and thought of greed.
Only Phil Lowe knows the real answers.

There are alot of negative people in the wrestling business in this country, They are the dead wood holding back progress.

I for one am very interested in seeing what ideas Phil Lowe has this time around. Who knows, maybe he will make a difference. Lets not pre-judge eh.
