He was actually one of Max Crabtree's son's. Because of this stigma, he was never given the credit he deserved for being a wrestler. One of his brothers also wrestled as Scot Valentine, and another of his brothers was a referee (and a good referee at that).

Don't mistake the Crabtree brothers of Max Brian and Shirley, this is just Max's sons that I am on about.

Also, does anyone know what happened to Rex Strong? He was a bald-headed, bearded heavyweight who wrestled in the 1970's & early '80's. He faced Kendo Nagasaki on TV during KN's unmasked period, and also tagged with Giant Haystacks on a number of occasions. He also ran a hotel on Blackpool's Golden Mile around the same time, which is how my mum and dad came to know him....I'd love to know what's he's up to these days.
