I'll never forget his speech after his match with Caswell Martin, which was the last match of the ITV "run". He spoke of no longer being allowed into our "parlours". It was a touching speech and a fitting end to the glory days of British wrestling.
R.I.P. Pat, you will certainly be missed.

I'm not as qualified as most of you lot to post here. I only knew Pat from a fans aspect. Followed the squared circle all over the U.K. and abroad from the mid 50's to the mid 80's.
Got to know quite a few of the wrestlers over that period. Big Pat stood out, above most, a TRUE gentleman.
