I thought it was going through 1stop considering we have a hall of fame as it is and we have asked people to e-mail us with any suggestions on how to improve the Hall if Fame etc

There seems to be only one villain on the 1Stop Hall of Fame. All nominees appear to be from a very limited time scale as if they were selected as one person's favourites.

I repeat that for this to go anywhere there need to be clearly defined criteria which is why I proposed the seven categories above, to start the ball rolling.

So please tell us what the criteria in fact were in assembling the 1Stop Hall of Fame.

I would take it a step further. Since there are so many diverse opinions, Hall of Fame entry should be _base_d on a vote or poll of some kind, which could add to its validity. Alternatively, those of us interested could each back one or seven wrestlers, and write a proposal outlining each's suitability. We then get some independent body to adjudicate (ideally _base_d in Italy).

We need structure.

A lot of work has obviously gone into the current 1Stop Hall of Fame portraits, but all of Anglo Italian's comments are valid. I would like to see the current Hall of Fame features re-assigned to a new biographies section, and a new democratic Hall of Fame started. Do as Anglo-Italian suggests and tell us the criteria. We then have a period to put forward nominations (with optional reasons for) and at the end of that period we vote. We could elect say, ten members in the first instance to get us going and then another one every three months.

Just wanted to mention 3 wrestlers not mentioned so far: Ken Joyce; Dr Death; Joe Cornelius.

If I was voting for my top 4 that have already been mentioned it would have to be: George Kidd, Jackie Pallo, Kendo Nagasaki and Mick McManus.

If we were voting for non-wrestlers who has served British wrestling well, for 40+ years, how about Russell Plummer.

There has been a lot of work recently gone in to the updates for Version 2 of 1StopWrestling. This has included a lot of research for... Biographies and Hall of Fame.

We are scheduling a staff meeting as soon as possible (hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks, commitments permitting) and will get back to everyone with final plans as soon as we have them.

It's always nice to know we have support!
