Count Von Zuppi was a guy named Martin Warren who in fact was a dentist which came in very handy when you had a smack in the mouth. He was always against Daddy in the tags and a few times i teamed with him against Daddy and various partners. In these tags i was the Masked Destroyer so i suppose you can add me to the list. 8)

isnt it strange the way we go on about the magic of masked wrestlers yet we cant wait to come on here and blow the persons cover.
none of us new guys knew who von zuppy was but somebody had to come on and blow his cover.
very sad.

In reply to the last post the reason why i gave his identity was because somebody asked the question. He has retired now so whats the problem and i dont feel it spoils the magic because he did not wrestle under any other name so you would not have known him anyway.Everybody knows who Nagasaki is but it does not take away how good he was.And if we are talking about sad,how sad it is that you have to post under the name Unknown Wrestler at least i put my real name on the posts. 8)

I'm torn here between agreeing with the Unknown Wrestler and my admiration for 'The Mat Veteran's' contributuion to wrestling.

I remember once as a kid seeing a masked tag team over from the states , as they entered the venue they were wearing siuts , best dress shoes and thier masks. They wrestled in thier masks and changed and signed a few autograhps in thier masks even had a few beers in thier masks. To this day I still dont know who there are /were and nor do I want to because that way the magic and awe I was in that night will remain with me.

Sure I used to scream and shout for Kendo's mask to come off and a couple of times it nearly did----but never quite. So you had to go next time --just in case-----

I said it once before about a wrestler I know that has a good mask gimmick bubbling around in his brain but is loath to spend the money on all the gear required only for it to be blown the first time he takes it out.

Pity that the full effect of a masked mystery man may never seen again.

Keep the Faith, Dusty.
