British fed owners? 6 Years, 5 Months ago
I'm making a game and need to know the owners of the British feds. I know Scott Conway owns TWA, and I've been told that Rab Keneddy owns FWA? Correct?

I also think WAW is owned by Ricky Knight?

I also need to know owners of All Star, GBH, NWA-Hammerlock.etc.

Thanks!

Thanks very much!

Well, I'm not exactly mkaing a game, but I'm making a scenario for the great wrestling simulator Extreme Warfare Revenge - you can download it at my site www21.brinkster.com/ewrevenge/index.htm[/url[ along with loads of scenarios/graphics/hints and tips/guides.etc.

Premiere Promotions - John Freemantle
TWA was owned by Steve Barker until '98.
Orig Williams is an indie promoter who did Reslo on S4C (Yeah!) and WWF Tribute Shows (Boo!)
Jack Taylor is *still* an indie promoter from time to time.
Dave Fit Finlay's dad Dave Finlay Snr was a big promoter in Northen Ireland.

Joint Promotions/Ring Wrestling Stars 1952-1995ish (RIP):

    1952-c1970: divided into Territories:
[ul]Johnny & Bill Dale (Abbey) +Les Martin - South England
    Best & Wryton - Midlands + Wales
Norman Morrell and Tom Beresford - North of England
George de Relwyskow (and descendants) - Scotland

c.1970 - all bought out by the Hurst Park Syndicate

c.1972 - all sold to Jarvis Astaire (boxing promoter - later helped get SummerSlam '92 to Wembley) who also buys up the BWF group including Paul Lincoln Promotions

c. late 70s - effectively nationalised when sold to state bookmakers William Hill.

1986 - privatised - sold to Max Crabtree

c.1993 - sold to referee Ken Joyce (such as was left of it by then)[/ul]

I must correct you on one piece of information.

Steve Barker did not own TWA, he was the owner of Rumble Promotions _base_d in Kent.
