Best British Match? 6 Years, 5 Months ago
Of all time?

Mine would have to be Jody vs Doug Williams from Revival, its one of the top matches of 2002.

I'd say possibly one of the Johnny Saint vs Steve Grey matches.

I'm confused now.

I would have said my favorite match was Johnny Storm V sJodie Fleisch at Revival - but SinsVids says it was Fleisch Vs Williams at Revival. Anyway, the Storm/Fleisch match was a ladder match (or a TLC) and absolutely ruled. Didn't see it lie mind, but it was greqat none-the-less.

One of my slight gripes with Revival was the amount of editing that had to be done. I understand that when you have a two hour timeslot and a three hour + live show there have to be some omissions, but some of the cutting was a shame. One particular move I remember from the live show was when Jodie got sent towards the ladder on the stage, ran straight up it and came off the top with a moonsault to Storm. Pure agility! That match seemed even better live, as did Doug Vs Jodie and Doug Vs Eddie - the impact wasn't the same on TV, but I can't put my finger on it.

Getting back to the original topic, I really wouldn't be able to pick my favourite match ever. I personally feel that a match's position in the show and what happens around it has the main impact, so to just pull one match out is difficult.

allthough to be fair i have not seen a wide range of matches over the years or from that many different promotions, however out of those shows i have seen i'd say practicaly any of the zebra kid v ricky knight matches would have to be up there some where!! also may be the jodie fliesche v zebra kid ladder match at fightmare 1 last year!!!

In My oppinion most of the greatest matches happened back in the days of Joint Promotions. The matches back when wrestling was on TV were super hyped, and feuds between Haystacks, Pat Roach, Johnny saint, Tony St Clair were hyped to draw interest.

I personally looked forward to seeing bouts with Haystacks on, but the greatest matches came from the smaller guys, and i would have to go with Adam and choose a match from the past days.

For me it was the feud with Haystacks v Kendo Nagasaki, which lead to the un-masking. But there were so many great matches, to actually pick one would be insane.

You may not like my pick, but at the time it was super hyped, and everyone was talking about it. ITV actually had a show dedicated to the match-up.
