Paying dues in the world of Pro Wrestling. 6 Years, 7 Months ago
I was thinking about this the other night. How long does a wrestler have to wrestle for before he is considered to have paid his dues? Or is there specific things you have to do? I heard back in the 80's of UK Wrestling rookies where beating within an inch of there lives in the ring as it was all part of paying your dues. What is part of paying your dues? Travel? Suffering? Injury? Jobbing? Working for free? Things like that?

I would say you would have to of been wrestling a good year and wrestled also for a few promotions. But sleeping with mark Sloan might help, and i have heard of some promoters getting their ass kissed by certain wrestlers and putting the as kisser over. i say you earn the respect and wrestle for who ever you can.
One thing you must remember that in this game look after yourself and you'll do just fine. Cya in August Rob. 8O

I don't think there is really a set time limit for paying your dues in pro wrestling, I think you jist need to keep doing your thing until you earn some respect and recognition in what you are doing.
