Rest in peace Pat
Last time i saw Pat was six weeks ago at a wrestling reunion in Ellesmere Port.He was a fine wrestler who carried the British flag for many years in tornaments abroad.

Pat Roach was probably the last of the TV wrestlers to make it big on mainstream TV (Auf Wiedersehen Pet) and also appeared in many blockbuster films.
He was also, or course, in the final match of Saturday Afternoon Wrestling.
He was a fine heavyweight. R.I.P.

when i started wrestling ,more years ago than i care to remember,Pat was the first big name i worked with. i can honestly say that he was a gentleman,gave me plenty of the bout and was full of encouragement.i was fortunate to work with him a few times over the years.a great loss
