Personally it does seem there's less news from the north, but one of the 1stop _object_ives is to make sure that all proper wrestling promotions get the coverage they deserve. So if we can help the scene as a whole, we do! It's down to if everyone else can help us more!

There are actually a few promotions up North, just most fo them dont bother promoting on the internet, because of the marks constantly dissing what they do.
I promote on the internet, because I don't care and its worked in my favour.
There is no real north/south divide, I dont think so anyway, my site and this site covers whats happening in what area. Just the likes of WAW, Hammerlock and FWA have been going longer than say WZW. Its all on the up and up.

Well Mat Veteran , I do believe that there is a difference in the crowds North/South. Although I live in the South I think that the Northern workers and crowds have a better grasp of the heritage of British wrestling ( I can almost hear Jack typing his fingers to the bone as I 'speak') whilst the Southern Workers and crowds tend to be more 'show boaters ' . Can't speak of the past but currently it seems to me that up North it tends to be stiffer and from my limited experience the Midlands seems to be the 'hot-bed ' of British wrestling. I've attended shows in the South and the fans try to be as over as the workers , whilst in the Midlands whole familys still go to shows and the interaction is how it should be.
I have a sneaky feeling I'll get ripped for this post but hey when the Mat Veteran asks a question its only polite to answer!!

Be interesting to see some of the Northern promotions down here.
I always remember quite a few of the old Brit wrestlers were from up North.
Or unless they just stuck to me more because of the accents that I weren't used to hearing as a kid?

perhaps we should have a mixed promotion north VS south event somewhere in the middle
and aso maybe because the 1 stop administrators are south _base_d is a reason
alo TWA usedto advertise the forum so that couldbe a reason
