Battle of the Lobby Hall? I'm intrigued...can you tell us the story in more detail? I know the Kendo/Rocco feud got really heated in the years following the end of the ITV coverage (indeed, in the Simon Garfield book, Lloyd Ryan describes some of their matches as bloodbaths). Which was their most vicious encounter?

I've only ever seen Rocco seriously back off from another wrestler once.
That was against Nagasaki at one of their encounters at Norwich.
Nagasaki was not getting his own way, so decided to leave the ring, crawl under the ring and reappear with a steel toolbox with the ring assembly gear inside. He then smacked Rocco between the eyes with a large wrench, busting his forehead open.
Needless to say, Rocco was not impressed, took a short 'time out' and then continued with blood streaming down his face.
Another NO CONTEST with both men bloodied and given their marching orders.
Hell of a contest though !!
