Most Violent Hall.... 5 Years, 11 Months ago
Melksham Assembly Hall, in the early days (when we first started promoting there). To date, we've only had one riot, which is fine by me!

These type of scenes where not just in Scotland. You English had a few hot spots too. Perhaps Julian could recount some tales from Norwich or Kings Lynn.

While I don't have any peronal tales to tell, because the Norwich crowds I've been a part of have been quite tame, I can get my hands on some stories for you, and these will be available via the WAW website very soon, such as the time the entire security team at the Norwich Corn Exchange resigned, rather than enter the arena before a Superflys match!

But for now;
THE ROWDY RICKY KNIGHT & SWEET SARAYA TOP 5 MOST VIOLENT WRESTLING HALLS
1) Norwich
2)King's Lynn
3)Maidstone
4)Bath
5)Cleethorpes

Brian Dixon stated in the Eastern Evening News that Norwich Corn Exchange was the second roughest hall in the country where he had promoted. Liverpool Stadium was first on the list.

Stories relating to Norwich are legion !!!!.............. and all TRUE.

Croydon remains the only place where I have a seen a teenage boy so desperate to get at a heel (Brookside) that, when his mum tried to restrain him, he turned round and punched her in the face!

Yes, I remember during the Croydon Ladder Match in 1990 where Kendo finally regained the mask Rocco had stolen on TV, there was a Kendo fan and a Rocco fan in each others' faces down by the ring apron who had to be pulled apart by security.

Of course two years earlier in 1988 at Croydon it was Kendo and Rocco themselves who made security's life miserable in the infamous Battle of the Lobby Hall, which ended up wiht Kendo getting banned from the venue indefinitely for hitting a member of Fairfield Hall staff. (The above mentioned ladder match was Kendo's return to the venue after Brian Dixon negotiated the lifting of the ban.)

While we're on the subject of the Fairfield Hall, does that awful middle-aged blonde woman who looked like Julie "Bet Lynch " Goodyear that used to sit in the front row and get up to attack wrestlers and get dragged away by security, still attend, or has she been banned?
God she was a pain, if you want a good reason to be a heel-mark, not wanting to get lumped in with a babyface-mark like her was as good a reason as any!
