I have studied several arts, and still do. Judo was one that I tried briefly and am planning to again when I achieve what I want to from my current combat sport (not pro wrestling related). I have a reasonable background in Amateur and greco Roman and would say that Judo is an even better starting point than those _style_s for the pro game. As Danny said, the breakfall and legit submission elements of Judo are invaluble in Pro (a point proven by the fact that Dannys Judo has beaten my amateur/greco in every shoot match we've had so far even though we are of similar experience in our own _style_s and of physical stature and strength. Damn that Oxman!!)

Cheers Bro, but I love it man. Can't get enough of that shootfighting stuff. However, I did go for a National _title_ last weekend and my game was a little off. I got mullered by the Silver and Gold Winners, Taking Bronze, but I was disappointed by my own performance.
Maybe we'll settle it in the ring eh Jester?!

Incidentally, can anyone give me directions to the Holbrooks training area, as I'm unsure as how to get to this new venue...?
