Most of the matches would be contested under old _style_ british wrestling rulesa of rounda and 2 out of 3 falls
Match 1: The wrestling was excellent in this contest ... Some craft reversal, and especially enjoyable fuull nelson sequence of moves that left the audience with no choice but to applaud.
Match 2: Matt Crichton Vs Joe Hughes
A technical wrestling encounter that will make the likes of Jonny Saint and Marc Rollerball Rocco proud. The crowd were extremly vocal during this match, and rightfully so. I doubt whether many people in the crowd really uunderstood what "wrestling" was until this match. No flashy high spots, no catch phrases. Just two young lads, wrestling. It would be unfair of me to try and describe the goings on of this match......to be very honest, i do not think i can do it justice. What i will say is that this match proved not only to me but to many doubters in the audience that British wrestling still has a place in todays society...
... a legitimate british amateur champion (with gold medals to boot) in Charles Ryhss.
Excellent work guys! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
from the loo on both there faces
Dr Death Mel Stuart ... this match would not have looked out of place during british wrestlings hey day. Mel Stuart,
No wonder, since "Pretty Boy" Mal Stuart is, of course a veteran of the TV era and appeared on the telly quite a few times, especially during the '80s.

Does seem that it was a good show, reminds me a bit of the Premier show that I went to (with Chris and Stevie) saw Baxter wrestle there under British rules and he worked it well.
It is refreshing to see British rules matches though for a change in the industry, and its good to see that it is spreading from just a minority of matches to a lot of matches
