i agree everyone has their favorites but im gonna come down on his side cos hes my dad and im sooo proud of him for all hes done in the wrestling world and all the suffering hes had and hes still smiling :wink:

I always used to enjoy watching Bulldog Joynson and everytime he was on World of Sport Kent Walton used bring up his nickname from the German tournaments , some thing '...panzer' meaning pocket tank which summed him up perfectly.
IMHO a great wrestler and very underrated.

he was known as Der tachen panza as you say the pocket tank :wink:

Ruth, ask your dad how he got started in the business, where did he train, who did he enjoy wrestling against, which countries he visited, etc? That sort of information is always interesting.

And while you're at it, Ruth, could you ask him about that tour of Israel he was reported (by Kent Walton) as having done in '76?

Would you mind asking Colin his thoughts on the matches he had with Spiros Arrion during the Iron Greek's UK visit ?
They had some tremendous battles
