Davey Boy Smith - who did he work for in 1993? 5 Years, 2 Months ago
I've just been re-reading Anthony Evans's column about Davey Boy Smith in Powerslam #96. It states after he left WCW in 1993, he came back to Britain and wrestled for the Crabtree family, making a killing from the "old Polaroid gimmick".
However, I may be wrong, but weren't the Crabtrees out of the wrestling business in 1993?

You are indeed wrong - Max Crabtree was still running Joint Promotions as "Ring Wrestling Stars" in '93. Max eventually sold the company on to Ken Joyce in about '95.

Big Daddy finally packed it in thru bad health at the end of 1993 and Davey Boy Smith started appearing in tags for the Crabtrees in February 1994. He also took part in the summer season venues in 1994 and also appeared for Premier Promotions then. Funny enough during February 1994 Dynamite Kid was wrestling for All-star but I doubt they appeared on the same bill anywhere.

I saw Davey Boy at the Guildford Civic Hall,I believe that would have been '93. It was billed as American/International event. I'll have to dig out the old programmes at my Mums. Not sure name of the promoter,I think it was usually All Star at the Civic, with all the old faves that were on TV.
