Just from Sarah's de_script_ion I rember this guy. Never personally spoken to him or anything but still very sad to hear of his death. RIP Chris.

I met Chris only once, in February last year when he attended a Saturday afternoon meeting in a Stoke on Trent pub with Rob Brookside as a guest answering questions.
Everyone went on to the show at Hanley that evening with an appearance by some "legends" and an appearance in the ring by "the legend" Kendo Nagasaki along with about a dozen of us in the ring with him.
At the end of the evening several of us went back to the pub including Chris.....this is where I met him and sat with him as he looked through some of my Nagasaki photo albums.
He was a friendly, knowledgeable, smart and educated man with many years of wrestling shows to his name.

Very shocked and saddened to hear of Chris's passing. I was at the Rob Brookside event too and met Chris several times at Hanley and Croydon. What a smashing fella. One of the real great stalwarts of the British wrestling scene. RIP Chris.

I too am saddened by the news of Chris Raggett's death. My sympathy goes out to his family and all who knew him.

I met Chris for the first time at this year's reunion, he was a lovely man who had an exceptional knowledge of wrestling. He assisted me in gaining wrestling information, for which I am truly thankful. I am sure he will be sadly missed by many.
