Can anybody confirm that Sean Regan was the Zebra Kid in Joint Promotions rings of the late 1970's? Also who were behind the masks of The Black Baron , The Exorcist & Battle Star again in Joint Promotions of the early 1980's?

Sean Regan did have a spell as the Zebra Kid in the 70s.The Exorcist was a man named Gordon Corbett from Birmingham.He died from a heart attack as did Kevin Corley who was the Black Baron,he died at a show in London.Battle Star was Barry Douglas .How many more can u name? 8)

Thanks Keith. Was Gorden Corbett also the original Exorcist of the mid 1970's? I know that The Emperor of the mid 1980's was Bill Bromley , the legend Kendo Nagasaki is Peter Thornley , King Kendo - Bill Clarke. Anybody else want to add to the list ?

Off the subject, but that's set my mind at rest. I was reading the 1950s crime thriller The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler the other day and it has a character called Sean Regan. I just *knew* I'd heard the name before!

Gordon Corbett as far as i know was the original Exorcist and his real wife was his manager,her wrestling name was Miss Jamie Barrington.Another great masked man was Count Batelli from Crewe he was amasked wrestler for 26 years untill he lost to Kendo Nagasaki.His real name was Geoff Condliffe.Also a guy named Jack Fallon worked for a while in a mask and he with Ted Beckley trained Dynamite Kid.He is mentioned in Dynamites book under his real name of Billy Chambers.Hope this is of some help. 8)
