My mum has asked me to post this. She states that she is 100% sure that when British wrestling was shown on World of Sport there used to be a lady in the audience every week wearing a wedding dress! The rest of my family and I always laugh when she brings up this topic, so she wants someone to back her up. So, is my mum correct?

P.S: She also has a story about seeing some monkeys having a tea party in a boxing ring outside her local somerfields when she was very young !
There has been a few excentric people sat in the front row of wrestling shows. I think the woman you are refering to used to go to shows in London. I might be wrong, but I am sure that she used to attend the Royal Albert Hall shows and was called 'the dutches'.
Other excentric people include the legendary Mad Eli who wore that many badges on his jacket and hat you could not see either item of clothing.
There's also Mad Doris of Croydon fame. One of my favourite moments was when she was front row for a WWF Royal Albert show and Luna Vachon was at ringside working the crowd... until she got into a screaming match with Doris... Luna backed down first
