Wrestle Talk TV Coming To TV Screens This Sunday

Wrestle Talk TV Coming To TV Screens This Sunday

Posted on 21 August 2012 by Wrestling News

Wrestle Talk TV debuts this Sunday, 26th August on Challenge TV featuring an interview with WWE star Chris Jericho.

The show has been running on YouTube for 10 months and has been presented in association with The Daily Star and Fighting Spirit Magazine. The most popular episode so far received over 8,000 viewers.

BritishWrestling.co.uk first learned of the show’s debut via Alex Shane‘s Facebook updates; Alex has been heavily involved with promoting the show and the team here congratulate him and everyone else involved in getting a British produced wrestling show back on our screens in a regular slot.

There have been questions from fans posted online concerned whether there is enough British wrestling footage being produced today that is of broadcast quality. No doubt that with a show produced in this country having a regular slot on television, promoters will be doing their best to ensure they are producing footage that fits in with the production values of the show!

The video below is a preview of this Sunday’s show:

Wrestle Talk TV debuts on Challenge TV this Sunday, 26th August 2012 at 11PM, after TNA Impact Wrestling. Challenge TV is available on Sky Channel 125, Virgin Media Channel 139 and Freeview channel 46. To get a flavour of what to expect and view past episodes, subscribe to the Wrestle Talk Youtube channel.

Damien Defends His Title at Wrestlezone’s Live Wrestling on Jan 28

Damien Defends His Title at Wrestlezone’s Live Wrestling on Jan 28

Posted on 26 January 2012 by British Wrestling News

Scottish wrestling promotion Wrestlezone kickstart their 2012 wrestling action with their first event this weekend in Aberdeen this Saturday, January 28th. There will be a special stipulation in the main event title match. Any outside interference has been completely banned in the Wrestlezone Undisputed Championship fight between holder Damien and challenger Bryan Tucker. The prohibition comes after the current champion used help from his friends such as Sterling Oil to retain his championship. In view of this, the management has decided that none of his friends can be present at the rinbgside to help Damien and that he will have to defend his title all by himself.

“The Enigmatic Icon” first won gold in November 2010 after defeating Lionheart for the Heavyweight Championship and following this up with a title unification victory, the 26-year-old has maintained his supremacy, mainly due to the antics of his manager Richard. R. Russell. The match headlines a night of body-slamming action at the city’s Cloverleaf Hotel, with home town favourite Scotty Swift set to go up against “The Enforcer” Mr. Malice, plus there will be appearances from regulars “Tenacious” Johnny Lions, Crusher Craib, Shawn Johnson and many more.

Tickets are available now from the hotel, priced £10 for adults and £7 for under 14s.
Doors open at 7pm with the action getting underway at 7.30pm – for more information, please go to www.wrestlezonescotland.co.uk .
