One of the UK’s leading wrestling families see’s itself represented once again when Dave Taylor returns from his home in the USA. Taylor,a third generation wrestler,will be hitting the All Star circuit for three weeks in February. In his career Dave Taylor is a two time British Heavyweight Champion,European Heavyweight Champion,and twice CWA World Tag Team Champion with Chris Benoit,as well as being the winner of the prestigious 2004 Hanover Tournament. Dave has wrestled for World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as part of the Blue Bloods with William Regal and Bobby Eaton and then later with the legendary Fit Finlay. Dave went on to wrestle for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and then became a trainer at OVW and HWA for WWE Development Wrestlers. He also ran the Blue Bloods Wrestling Acaemy,where the WWE picked him to train the likes of Batista,Randy Horton and Brock Lesner to name a few,as well as Chris Benoit,on route to his comeback. Dave is looking forward to returning to All Star Wrestling where he started his career over 20 years ago,and plans to keep 1StopWrestling up to date with his progress.

Sliced Bread Wrestling held their first show in front of 130 people at the St James Working Mens Club in Northampton last night. Brief results from the show: Match #1: Morales & Laken Xander beat A-Star Athlete & Saul Adams After the match,Darren Burridge hit the ring and laid waste to all four men,asking why he hadn’t gotten a match on the show. He demanded an opponent from the back and got WAR’s Falcon… Match #2: Darren “”Pukka”" Burridge beat Falcon Match #3: Ace Anderson beat “”Genki Dragon”" Kobayashi After a quick interval (while the worryingly-wobbly ring was secured),the show continued… Match #4: The FYC beat Chaos Match #5: “”Wonderkid”" Jonny Storm beat “”Sensation of the Nation”" Rob Hunter,2 falls to 1,to win the Sliced Bread Golden Toaster Trophy. Match #6: Darren Burridge outlasted 20 other men to win a Rumble-style Battle Royale,and secure himself a spot in the Golden Toaster match on show #2. Sliced Bread #2 was announced for Saturday March 26th,again at the St James Working Mens Club in Northampton.

JONNY STORM FOR DROPKIXX Jonny Storm,regarded by many as the finest lightweight wrestler in Europe,has accepted an invitation to appear at Dropkixx Wrestling Academy as guest Instructor on Sunday February 6th for one day only. Following the rapturous welcome that he received during his visit last Sunday with Baxter Burridge,the immensely talented youngster Jonny who is shortly returning to Japan was only too pleased to book a return session.
